"In April of this year, we celebrated our wedding in your function centre and would like to express our appreciation to your members for opening their club to us. Most importantly however, we would like to bring to your attention the exceptional contribution of your Functions Coordinator. From our very first contact with him, he displayed professionalism and hospitality of the highest level. Indeed, our decision to select Green Acres over the many other venues we visited can be attributed to the manner in which the Functions Coordinator welcomed us and presented your club. We were offered flexibility; whereas other places we investigated were extremely rigid and controlling with regards to the running of the evening. The Functions Coordinator was perfectly accommodating to our varied (and often changing!) requests. What's more, he made himself available to fit into our busy pre-wedding schedule. On a number of occasions he worked outside his usual hours to meet with us.

The  professionalism and courtesy of the staff, the presentation of your venue and the  smooth adherence to our timetable were all of the highest standard. Deserving of special mention is the food. Never before have we experienced such a high quality meal at a wedding or similar function. All aspects of the meal were perfect - the variety, the presentation, the wines, the quality, the quantity and the taste. This sentiment was echoed by many, many of our guests who offered similar comparisons to other events they'd attended. One elderly lady had attended a wedding at the Hilton just weeks before and commented that their meal wasn't even in the same class as that she'd enjoyed at Green Acres.
